WELCOME TO BALINMORE STUD

Balinmore Stud was established in 1986. Initially a hobby it is now one of the longest established, most successful Irish Draught studs in the UK.

Over the years Balinmore Stud Farm has stood many Irish Draught stallions including: Knockboy Hero, Riverbank, Young Prospect, Atwood Black Laughton, Rebelara and currently Skip and Sea.

Balinmore mares and progeny have enjoyed major successes in the show ring, winning County Show Championships, Blue Chip Qualifiers, NFU Championships, HOYS, National Supreme Championships and National Reserve Supreme Championships. On several occasions Balinmore have won with older stock under saddle excelling in all equestrian spheres.

The Stud is located in a quiet rural location just outside the village of Bewholme.

We usually have some young stock available to purchase and foals may be booked prior to arrival.

Visitors are welcome to the Stud anytime of the year by prior appointment.
